A Little About the Board Members:

Ronda Sinyard:

President Arkansas APCO
Communication Manager- City of Conway

I have been with the City of Conway for 2 years as the Communication Manager.  I have worked in Public Safety close to 20 years.  I started out as a dispatcher in Sheridan, Arkansas.  I have dispatched for the City of Benton and also MEMS Ambulance service.  I moved up to the Manager position in 2000 for the City of Benton and in 2005 changed my career plans to the City of Conway.  Conway is a growing city and we have an awesome 911 center and a great team of telecommunicators.  I have big plans for our future and plan to do all I can to make it the best center in the state.

Matthew Garrity:

2ND Vice President Arkansas APCO & Director
BENTON COUNTY CENCOM

I have been with Benton County for 4 ½ years. At CENCOM I worked my way up from Call Taker to Dispatcher, Supervisor, Manager and now Director. I am married and have 2 sons 1 Grandson.  Prior to that I worked for the Eaton Corporation in Shawnee Oklahoma for 18 years where I was leader of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) which consisted of Fire, Medical, and Hazmat units. At the Eaton Corp, I was in charge of all training, resource management, and coordination with outside agencies. I joined the American Red Cross (ARC) after the Oklahoma City Federal building bombing, after a couple of years training I was leader of the Disaster Action and Assessment Team (DAT). I coordinated all training and field teams during Disasters. While at the Red Cross, I worked 2 ice storms and several tornados, one of which included the May 3rd 1995 F5 tornado which hit central Oklahoma.

I have been a volunteer for Department of Emergency Management (DEM) in Oklahoma and here in Benton County. I have an educational background in Computer Science and Disaster Preparedness. I am committed to continuous training to insure we serve the citizens of Benton County and the State of Arkansas with professionalism.

Gary (Bud) Gray:

I started to work with for the City of North Little Rock in 1990.  I worked as a Dispatcher from Jan 1990 till Mar 1997 when I was promoted to Lead Dispatcher.  May 2004 I was promoted to Deputy Coordinator.  Prior to working for the City, I was a volunteer Firefighter with CS&Z Volunteer Fire Department.  I also was a volunteer ambulance driver for the City of Lonoke.  Don't know if you want this tid bit of information but my hobbies are swimming, gardening, and landscaping.  I'm pretty dull, but people that know me, know that already!!
